I have been working as a Relate Counsellor since 2002 working with Couples, Individuals and Young People.I have established my own private practice in Brighouse, in addition to being awarded a license to receive referrals from Relate. I have received additional training on issues such as adult survivors of sexual abuse; mental health and couple counselling; domestic violence, infertility and human sexuality*

PERSONAL APPROACH.
My work is underpinned by two therapeutic (counselling) models; Psychodynamic and Systemic. My practice is based on needs and best interest of the client at all times. However I may not be able to keep something confidential, should I have reason to believe someone especially a child is at risk of harm.I will consult with you wherever possible, should this be the case.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
If you are concerned about domestic violence or abuse within your relationship I can offer individual sessions in the strictest confidence.This may also be recommended prior to considering ongoing couple therapy, to ensure we can work safely.
